G.shdsl products are meant to transport data across one or more copper pairs at speeds of 2.3Mbps and multiples thereof. The actual standard defines a single pair and a two pair version; but, by combining G.shdsl with the Inverse Multiplexing over ATM (IMA) standard of ATM, up to 32 pairs could be "bonded" together to form a virtual broadband. The transmission is rate-adaptive, symmetrical, starts at 192Kbps and extends upwards in 8Kbps increments.
Do we have G.shdsl here. Infact do we even have hdsl here on SA soil?
Anyone know?
