Is this usual

Hi all,

I have just set up a cellc connection for a friend, from her Samsung Cell phone to her PC. I have established a connection, however, it is horrendously slow, and I am getting almost no downlink speed. Is this usual?

I am in Muizenberg, Cape Town.

There was problem with GPRS/EDGE but it was reloved 30 mins ago, just try a little later or tomorrow, will keep you updated.

I'm using Virgin Mobile and had the same problem earlier this evening but it's fine now.

Must be because Virgin Mobile uses Cell-C's network.

Cell C Have emailed me and informed me that there GPRS/EDGE services are back online 100% they were having problems, but all seems sorted now.

I am using Virgin Mobile on my Nokia n80's modem and all is well.
No problem at all.
