Is tyre noise a myth?

Sound pressure level is only part of it, frequency is likely more important to a tyre being subjectively noisy. IMO a low frequency drone is less "noisy" than a high frequency whine, even at the same pressure level.

Fit some Dunlop SP Sport tyres to your car, I guarantee that you won't only hear the noise, but you feel it as well.

Those are the bloody worst..!!
