I'm interested in the IS business uncapped with Cisco router. Is anyone supplying this without a 12 month contract? I know there was some available without a contract a while ago, but I forgot who supplied it.

just remember, most times "uncapped" is not always uncapped.

Alot of the time, the small print says after 20 gigs in the month, they slow your connection down by half, and if you continue to use alot of gigs, they slow your connection down again.

Just make sure you read the small print! Especially with contracts!

Unless you have to send/receive a lot of data and you have to get it to/from overseas, these accounts just aren't worth all the shaping, throttling and restrictions that are applied.

We have the "uncapped" (100Gb) business thing from IS directly. By default, it seems, you get a unreliable Billion router, and only if you have a lot of problems, do you qualify for a Cisco router. Links are also unstable, and you only get a 1MB connection, although the Telkom portion is "up to 4Mb". You have to pay extra for the 4Mb option, but the line we tested for that, was actually slower after the "upgrade".

Might be better to go with a SAIX solution, IMHO. This is just my opinion obviously, maybe somebody had better luck with IS.
