IS/Verizon Peering problems

We host our servers at Verizon in JHB. As of yesterday we have been having major problems with connections to IS. Mail, FTP, web, you name it. Is anyone else having these kinds of problems. I can only get vague sort of answers out of Verizon...

There have been a myriad of problems on the Verizon network. I use close on 200Gb's per month internet access with them.. For the month of june I have been tap dancing between SAIX, IS and Verizon..

Short answer.. yes they have been and are experiencing problems.. .solution.. take out a SAIX contract.. not sure what you can do with your servers tho..
