Is Whatsapp suitable for business use?

Hi,

We all know how widespread Whatsapp is used for private and business use. I understand that Whatsapp uses end to end encryption but what about GDPR compliance? Is your company using Whatsapp business for sharing sensitive information? If i have a cheapie phone that only allows Whatsapp and cannot install TEAMs, what other secure alternates can i implement to communicate to the masses internally?

Telegram is far better suited to dealing with large groups.

Telegram doesnt seem to be private as well. The only app that confirms privacy and security at the same time is Signal. Anyone uses this?
