This was just too good to pass up.
8 ISDN lines on a PABX, 2 go down...
I fault them, next morning I call in and check the status, They say the faults were closed!
great two stuffed lines and they're not yet repaired. I check the lines and another ones gone. so I fault all three.
The Telkom dude pitches, and says he only has a single fault, the others were closed again.
Now he checks the lines, and I no longer have three lines out... it's four!
Thanks heavens he was there so I faulted three lines and he transfered all of them to his name so they wouldn't all be closed again.
It seems pretty common that these guys close faults without checking the actual status of the line with the customer.
