I am using ISGS (Internet Solutions Gated Services) and my internet keeps getting disconnected.
My setup is a wireless router in the lounge which my desktop with a wireless card connects to which is just in the next room.
I am using a D-Link wireless ADSL router. The desktop connects to the router (gets 2 bars usually signal) but then after a while I will only have "limited" or "local only" connection to the router with no internet connection. Its getting rather frustrating, sometimes the internet will last a few hours sometimes only a few minutes and it seems the only way to get connected again is to reboot the router.
I spoke to the ISP when I am in local mode and they say they cant see me active on their side but when I reboot I become visible again on their side. They cant seem to explain this and they say its not their problem???
How do I fix this annoying issue?
