International terrorist group ISIS claimed responsibility for Friday's attack in Jerusalem, in which IDF Border Patrol soldier, 1st Sgt. Hadas Malka, 23, was killed. ISIS's Amaq news agency stated the attack "will not be the last." This is the first terrorism attack in Israel the group has ever claimed to have executed.
Earlier Friday, Israeli security forces shot dead the three Palestinians, all from the West Bank, aged 18-19, who carried out shootings and stabbings in Jerusalem. The attacks occurred simultaneously in two areas near the Damascus gate of Jerusalem's walled old city.



"The shahids left terror in the hearts of the Jews, and with Allah's help it will not be the last," ISIS's statement read, saying that the terrorists prayed before beginning their attack. The group added that "Jews must expect to have their country destroyed" by ISIS militants.

Well most civilised countries would have shot to disarm and not to kill.

Shot to disarm? Where exactly does one go to learn this civilised shooting technique?

No, boet. I guarantee all gun training everywhere in the world teaches to carry a big gun and go for the kill shot every time.

You're creating a standard that doesn't exist and berating Israel for not living up to it.

Rubber bullets pack a good punch and will stop an assailant. Then you give them a fair trail. Israel does it do this they shoot to kill.

Israel should shoot to kill - no excuses, they are damned if they do and damned if they dont.

They weren't rioting they were shooting and stabbing.

That will get you shot with lead bullets in SA too. And everywhere else for that matter.

To be fair if they were arrested by some miracle, I'd be for a fair trial, but the only logical action when someone comes at you with a weapon is to run (if you can) or (if you are armed) high velocity lead at the centre mass of your attacker. If they survive you take them to hospital, then jail. Because you're civilised and better than that. If they don't survive, tough shyt.

It takes a special sort of ignoramus to talk about shooting to disarm as if every cop or soldier was a sharp shooter operating in bullet time.

Yup, I never understand Israel being more civilised in these things, like helping the Syrians with medical help.
Offering aid etc etc etc.
