ISP Account for WoW and CSS

IS as I understand do not shape, Telkom SAIX shape.
OpenWeb 3GB account
TelkomInternet 3GB

one is SaIX one is IS.

Which would be better for U.S WoW and for CSS SGS Servers.

I'd say Saix, IS would suffer latency since it uses a satellite connection to connect/get international access. The shaped account would however still suck somewhat esp during the daytime/OH.

So TelkomInternet account would be the best move.

Can't say for WoW as I don't play it but CSS on SGS is perfect with an IS account.

I would tend to agree that the latency will be bad when playing on a overseas server though due to IS going over satalite.

For U.S. an unshaped account would be better, but per-GB prices are almost double that of a regular shaped GB.

okay, then I guess I will go with TelkomInternet

why not use webafrica? they sell SAIX accounts (and they charge less than telkom)

TelkomInternet - 3GB - SAIX - R 249
WebAfrica - 3GB - SAIX - R199

-> TelkomInternet Relaxed Capping, WebAfrica hardcapped @ 3GB
-> TelkomInternet just sounds better for now. Even if I get 4GB in a month, it will be alot more WoW time for that 1GB ^^

the relaxed capping depends...its not always there

You are not garenteed (spelling) more than 3GB...it depends on the other users on your DSLAM (i think).

Correct me if im wrong...but i think thats how it works

No you are not guarenteed anything more thanthe 3gigs that you pay for.

Check the other thread in this topic and you'll see that results vary. Some people speak of still getting in excess of 10-15gigs out of telkominternet accounts this month, the average seems to have dropped to somewhere around 7-9, but there are also users who get capped after just over 3 gigs, so it is up to u if u want to take the chance really...
