Need your help on the following

I signed up with Optic Networks for a 20 down 20 up fibre connection. Problem started when I waited for more than a month for my router.
Shortly after receiving the router my network speed went for a ball of POOOP.
I logged a querie with a technician who sadly informed me that my speed was to be changed from 20/20 to 20 down 2 up at a higher cost. That said and done I questioned that, however I was told that if I wish to stay on the current 20/20 package I would have to cough up an additional +- R200 above what I was initially quoted / charged. Their website has changed since, cannot get any reference.

I have intermittent WIFI issues, which comes and goes. That being little to no connection or simply completely down. Strange I'd say, but....

This month logged another call due to no connectivity. To my surprise I was told very abruptly that I had to pay. Sadly for them I sent POP which went through at the beginning of the month and connection was restored. Needless to say, the abruptness caught me somewhat off guard.

What can I do? Cancel? NOTE - There is no written contract except for docs sent VIA Vumatel.

As a matter of interest. I took their offer for month to month incl a Microtik router which apparently is rather good. Can they log on remotely accessing settings on the router? I've picked up that my connection would be rather erratic at times while streaming or you tube.

Kindly advise

Ouch - Seems optic over selled. Were you also promised 20/20 at around R600 - R700? Uncapped / unshaped?

Not my connection, thank goodness. Made by someone else in Edgemead which I just reposted.
