HI All

I am getting to the end of my fuse with VOX:mad:, I am looking for an ISP that can offer Hosted Exchange/ADSL/Fibre and web hosting, Tried Mweb and found they were worse.

Any other re-sellers out there that have great service and good knowledgeable technical support from their ISP.

we have around 20-50 clients I would like to migrate.

Hope there is a real ISP out there.

Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve

Funny seeing you on here, I'll give you some free advice even though you didn't help with my domain issue ;)

I have had great experience with domains.co.za with domain hosting and reselling, and also am happy with hetzner with their dedicated servers.

Office365 is the only hosted Exchange solution that works.
Use Azure for Web Hosting.

if this is going down you shouldn't be hosting people's email as it seems you have no clue... do yourself a favor and lookup technologies like SPF and DKIM.

here is what you should do:

1) move hosting some one with good rep like Elitehost (though they seem to be dropping the ball), 1st prize is to invest real effort into something that is making you money and look at hosting your own CPanel and SPAM services. With not much effort you can setup a fairly redundant email service, check out NDC host if you want to pay someone else to do this for you, alternative, companies like the one I work for can also act as an escalation point (for a hefty fee).

2) @ 50 client's you will have not choice but to resell fiber and DSL without much control, here is a good place to get started: http://bfy.tw/32rD
DJ is listed as an option to check out...

3) Based on whats happening with your email I would call it a day, sign up as a Microsoft partner and give all your Exchange business to them. Multi tenant Exchange seems to be a challenge for most local ISPs (looking at you Vodacom with autologon because certificates is confusing) so don't even bother moving and losing your client's email in the process.

So you're going to Ocean Basket and ordering a steak and then moaning about how the steak isn't as good as The Butcher Shop or any other steak house specializing in steak?

No my friend. Get an ISP for your internet.
Get a HOST for your web hosting. An ISP, no matter what they claim, will always have sub-par web hosting services. Rather go to the pro's for what you need. You will get away with it cheaper, know the guys know what they're talking about when support is required, and not subject to, if you move ISP for cheaper data, to move your entire web hosting portfolio again.

The same suggestion when it comes to mail servers.
