ISP Help please?

Hey guys

I'm currently on a 4MB Business Uncapped package from Afrihost and it's really **** af.
The internet is used throughout the day, loads of YouTube streaming, lots of TV series and movie streaming from websites, occasional large HTTP downloads(3-4GB Max) and very little torrenting.

I'm thinking of swapping to WebAfrica(a 4MB Uncapped package)
Are they any good? Any problems with them ? What's the FUP like ?
And will they shape the F outta me like Afrihost 24/7?
Please help

Firstly before you decide on changing, are you sure that it isn't your line or router? Test with a free capped account from another ISP or buy a small capped account to test with for a few days.

If you do decide on Web Africa, definitely stay away from their home uncapped.

Have you considered using Crystal Web? i was on their home premium uncapped 4mb, never had an issue with streaming with the occasional downloads... now im on the 10mb uncapped and enjoying it even more... as far as ISP goes, i consider them the best

What network is Crystal Web on? IS, Telkom or some other backbone?
 
Based on my recent experience with AfriHost, their support is just plain terrible. My recent interactions with them were poor.

CW seems to be getting the most compliments from users on the forum. They were also recently ranked 2nd iro ISP by users. Certainly one of the top ISPs to consider.

if you want, try out their free trial account... but also let their ranking speak for itself in the recent survey... but you wont be dissappointed..

my usage is basically the same as you stated above... i use about anywhere from 250-300 gigs per month with no issues

I would not trust that survey at all, Cybersmart winning shows that it's either skewed or "bought".

Hey, thanks for the replies guys.
I will consider CrystalWeb.
If I do happen to go with WebAfrica, would a business Uncapped account be good?
