What are the chances (realistically) of anything actually changing before 1st November?

I know the DotCO ruling has been a welcome chance at hope for a lot of us.

Serious question to the ISPs... D'you reckon ICASA or the competition chaps would actually be able to help in time?

Lots. I wont have 1024adsl, I am canceling to take out the 192 version and zero based prepaid per gig.(or remain dialup?) I will then return to 24/7 sat use for browsing the internet and getting e-mails until something happens.

TELKOM wins again.

They will carry on stealing revenue where they can as long as there is ppl that is prepared to pay for it, as this is the only viable option All the proposed changes would mean nothing as Telkom would proof their operating costs SAIX is charging them and as this is a TELKOM fraud front which falls beyond the current Icasa rulings, past and future, they can screw us like they want They already said it does not matter what Icasa does they will retain their profit, NO MATTER WHAT
