ISP Recommendations

I need ADSL with a fixed IP address, and was wandering if anyone could recommend or tell me which ISP's to stay away from.

only ISP's offering fixed IP's are IS and Datapro, Id probably go with IS.

depending on your needs and router capabilities, you could use a dynamic DNS / DynDNS service, then you don't have to fork out for an IS or Datapro account.

This will provide a static name but not a static IP. For businesses that require SSL this will not be enough, he will need a physical static IP.

I have a friend that got static IP from ISand he was pretty impressed with them, so my vote is going to IS
