We had a telkom line installed at the house I share with a friend 10 days agp, and in an amazing fit of efficiency, they've evidently already enabled the 384kbs ADSL line we requested too, before we've had chance to properly research what's the best option for us in terms of an ISP and router.

Currently we're looking at one of the 384 uncapped offerings, with usage being split between some e-commerce in the main house (my friends wife sells jewlery online), and some gaming (WoW / MMO's mostly) and light-moderate downloading for me in the cottage. I'm used to iburst, so anything that'll give us <500-600 pings is fine in terms of performance, and shaping isn't much of a problem either, so long as browsing, email, torrents & HTTP downloads actually do work at some kind of reasonable speed.

Hardware wise, we have a desktop PC and laptop in the main house, and I have a desktop, laptop, and an xbox 360 outside, so suggestions for a decent & affordable wireless capable router that'll allow us to connect all that together will be appreciated. The laptops both have integrated wireless, and getting wireless NIC's for the dsektops and then connecting each device individually to the router seems the easiest. That is a lot of devices to run on one 384 connection, but they won't all be running at the same time (probably just 2 devices concurrently max), and I also understand the 384 lines will be being upgraded to 512 at some point soon, which should keep things manageable.

For the xbox I really don't feel inclined to pay the insane prices they want for the wireless NIC's, so my thinking is to connect the pc wirelessly to the router, then run a cable from both the desktop and the xbox to a 8 port hub I have lying around, then share the connection between my desktop & the xbox via internet connection sharing on the desktop. Will this actually work, or will I need to make another plan?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and advice :)
