ISPs fume over ADSL rules
Internet service providers (ISPs) have slammed certain aspects of new regulations governing fixed-line high-speed internet services, saying they do nothing to address the competition problems facing the market.
Both DataPro and Dimension Data subsidiary Internet Solutions (IS) say the asymmetrical digital subscriber line (ADSL) regulations do more to guarantee better service for consumers, but they also place onerous requirements on the ISPs, which could cause financial pain.
