ISP's giving ADSL support??

Hi,

My ADSL line have been giving me intermittent problems and I have spent a lot of time listening to their canned messages on the 0800375375 line.

One of the messages is that they are trying to improve service and have now enabled the ISP's to log faults directly with Telkom.

One of my accounts is with a well known ISP. So, I thought that I would give it a try and see if they can assist.

Three times I called, and three times I was told to PHONE TELKOM AND LOG THE CALL WITH THEM wtf!!!!!!:mad:

So, I am expecting too much?

Do you have an all in one package with these ISPs or is your ADSL line rental paid to Telkom?

If the latter then I suppose from a business point of view I too would tell you to phone them. If not then they should have to sort the problem themselves.
 
As far as i know only ISP's that resell telkom ADSL lines have access to the reporting system.
