Hi everyone, I seem to have an issue when backing up my iPhone 5 to my PC.
I have the latest version of iTunes on Windows 7.
I have the latest software update on my phone as well.
When I connect to iTunes and select the option to backup, it does attempt to start backing up my phone.
At step 2 when the device is syncing, iTunes seems to stop syncing the device. I notice the progress bar disappears when doing this.
I don't get any error message on the device or iTunes. The backup process just stops for some odd reason.
When I click on the backup button again, it starts to back up the device again, but I get the same result.
The "last back up date" reflects a date in the past.
I checked my backup folder manually, but I do not see a backup file for the latest backup.
I even restarted the phone and PC but nothing happens.
I even re-installed itunes as well.
My PC has enough free hard disk space so there should be no issues.
I need the backup in order to transfer my data to a new device.
Has anyone experienced this?
I need some help.
