Hi guys i need some advise. I had a telkom mobile contract years ago and the i went into debt review. I have settled this account early on the 22nd of November. I have called them non stop ever since for them to issue me a paid up letter. I have been told it takes 7 to 14 working days. Tomorrow is 13 working days. I have not received a single word from them regarding this letter. Everytime i call i am being told to wait. I have even visited the telkom store close to me and they have confirmed my account is settled and all they did is send an email to a different department. Every time i call and ask to speak to the department that handles these letters i am being told that they do not have phones they only receive emails. I have gone so far to personally email them and im getting no responce back. Is there a legal step i can take against these idiots. Looks like since covid hit people stop to do their jobs. My debt counselor is not doing anything from their side to get this letter. This is the last paid up letter i need to get my clearance certificate. Surely there is a law that they have to issue this letter in a certain amount of time as well as for my debt review company to sort this out as i pay them to do so.

Contact them via their twitter accounts, it may get it sorted quicker.
