Hi guys, I have a Msi 970 gaming motherboard and my pc has been acting weird recently. It started a week ago, when I switch the pc on, the screen remains blank with a 92 in the right hand side corner of the screen. I ignored the message and the next time put the pc on, it was fine. Now the problem has started again and the pc screen remains blank for a while with the 92 in the right hand corner , and now taking forever to start. Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Pics of the 92 please.

also; give full system specs

-Remove GPU and test
-Clear BIOS and test
-Clean PCIe slot and gold fingers and test.
-Clean RAM DIMM's and test.

*Clean with unused paintbrush.

also remember to report people! that's the funny part!

Code 92 means "PCI Bus initialization is started" Whatever the problem is, its starting during or just after that. Try unplugging all USB devices and see if that fixes the error.

I had the same problem with my MSI Gaming 9 AC board.

I had to move my graphics card to another slot for it to work. I found out that the Pins in the plastic PCIE slots weren’t soldered properly onto the board and some came loose.
I made things worse by removing my graphics card too many times while trying other slots.
(initially had 2 graphics cards and had to remove one so the other could work in another slot)

Purchased a new board and everything is fine as it was the same model.
