I bought a 320i bmw from a second hand dealership on the 04/06. before I bought the car I was told by the sales man that it has full service history by the agent and that the car would be sent for a service before being handed over to me. On Friday the service light started coming on and on Saterday the oil light also started to come on. I contacted them asking whats the story as I was told the car is going for a service and their response was that they must have made a mistake and sent the wrong car for a service.
Now this is where my issue comes in, they are telling me now that they are going to service the car themselves as they have the required equipment to connect to the computer of the car and are capable of servicing the car.
This is now not working for me as the car wnt have a full agent service history as told to me. And as the trust is broken how would I know they are not just resetting the computer and then just telling me the car is now serviced.
What would be the best way to approach this situation?
