Issues after loadshedding.

Hi all.

Has anyone experienced issues on their Fibre link after loadshedding?

I have Afirhost/Openserve and have a UPS and generator so nothing goes off and then powered on again, but I noticed that the ppp connections drop after loadshedding starts and stops. The firewall is up the whole time and there are no errors in the logs.

Other people in the area (Fourways) have also complained so I think it may be an Openserve issue.

It may be the exchange that you are connecting to, when PPPoE drops it is probably switching back to its main power from the backup power. Please send me a PM with your account number so I can check the sessions from our end.
