Issues playing games and watching at the same time

Hi Guys,

Just built a new rig. Having a strange issue I used to be able to play path of exile on my primary monitor and watch on my secondary.
Now VLC lags to an unwatchable point whenever the game gets intensive?

Specs -

i7 8700k
16GB DDR4
RX Vega 64
Using 2 x 27"144hz Acers

Any thoughts?

Ok fixed this myself.
Solution in case anyone else has similar issue.
Changed Video output to - Windows GDI
