Issues with Data specials - delayed loading times

I paid for a 3gig data special at R299 this morning around 7am and it still does not reflect.
Is this normal? When I load a standard data package it normally takes 5-10 minutes.

Anyone else having this problem? Or is it a ploy so you can pay the R2mb data fee until Vodacon feels like allowing access to your data. It pains me that you cant get through to Vodacom to make sure all is in order.

My business runs off the internet and emails and once again Vodacon lets you down.....
 
It should have reflected already. Sometimes there is a delay but normally not this long. I suggest you call them, but you will wait atleast 10-15mins on that call.
 
Finally got through to someone. Apparently you cannot check 'promotional' data balances normally (via SMS or though the Vodacon website user dashboard), so I had to take the SIM and put it into another phone and try the *111# method to get a balance.

And still nothing! Now I am waiting for Vodacon to call me back and let me know what is going on here.
What a circus! Its probably cost me a fortune having to tie up my phone line to get through to them, should have just gone for the normal data rate!
