So I've been re-doing my irrigation with some rainbird solenoid valves for future automation.
Got the wiring done and when turning on to test, the solenoid buzzes (both of them actually). Not sure if these things break easily but was straight out the box.
I've confirmed 24V on the line and also tested the resistance which is 78 (in range according to rainbird) so not sure what the problem is. Either both units are duds or the wiring is wrong (see below)

The output has 3 pins... Earth / 24V / 24V. I'm assuming one wire of the rainbiord goes into each of the 24V pins (since there is no clear L/N indication) or does the neutral line go elsewhere?
