iStore after sales / repairs

I live in a remote area and myistore is useless. I am trying to arrange for my iphone 6s to be sent with a courier for the battery replacement because my phone has severe battery issues but no one knows how it can be done.

One guy just tells me sent it to address x. So I ask just send it? What about reference etc etc. and now no reply.

I am done with this shyte I got my apple for long term support but in South Africa it seems like most stuff here it is not worth it.

Will wait for Nokia 7 plus and then just switch over.

Thanks tried them also no option to courier the phone to them. I really can’t understand why it is so difficult to send in a phone get it repaired and then send courier to collect again?

Microsoft on their own cost dropped of a new xbox one at my door and took the faulty one and I paid the difference.

All I am asking from iStore or Digicape is I don’t want to drive 500km and back again to fetch phone.

So I had my battery replaced last year September under the 6s recall program, took like 2 weeks. Everything was running fine but now lately the battery is even worse. Yesterday it showed the battery at 1% for about half the day, constant drain (it's at 45% already today), error messages about batter performance etc. Do I bother taking it to iStore again or can Digicape also do recall replacements? I feel like the service I got from iStore was pretty crap.

Are you sure they replaced it with genuine battery and not a generic Chinese branded one?. Anyway I also find it irritating how here in Durban, Istores doesn’t seem to have the skill to replace your battery or fix any other issues you have. They always have to send it to JHB and make you wait 2 weeks.

Digicape is an approved reseller so yes they can do the recall replacement.

However since you are going to claim for a warranty...on a warranty done by someone else it might be a bit more problematic. However it shouldn't be as all authorized resellers should be the same and have access to the replacement records.

If it's iStore then it should be legit. More so because it took two weeks as they have this bizarre policy of only ordering the new battery once the phone arrives at their premises instead of keeping any stock.
