Hi there.

Any idea what would be the cost of replacing a battery on an iPhone 11?

I would like to replace my battery with iStore but they don’t give me a price on their website.

Thank you.
I’m assuming that they still charge R300 assessment fees because the phone was not bought from istore.

Why would they do that, you drop the phone off and they fit the new battery and you pay the R1199 battery replacement fee when picking it up again?

What's to assess? You're bringing it in for a new battery.

One issue, like I have is, is if there is a cracked glass they generally will not simply replace teh battery, you have to have the glass replaced and the battery.
Makes sense to me if they have to pry off the screen to get to the battery?

Yep, that might be the 'assessment'...
From my experience the assessment fee is normally levied if you reject a quote, they don't charge the list price for a standard repair and an assessment fee on top of that. The glass back replacement will just be another line item on the invoice.

This is my understanding of it as well.
I’d have to go in store to get more information.

Funny people always complain about the Apple prices in SA, but it seems we pay less for battery replacement than in the US.

Does anyone know how long they usually take to replace an iPhone battery? Looking for a store that does it on the same day (no spare phone)
