iStore Battery Replacement

Does anyone know how long they usually take to replace an iPhone battery? Looking for a store that does it on the same day (no spare phone)
Real Repair usually does them in the same day and my missus says they're having a black friday special on 3rd party batteries.

I've replaced my US-bought iPhone 11's battery at the iStore for the price mentioned on their website. There was no assessment fee.

I've also had to replace the phone's front glass since it had a single crack on it. I don't believe they had to do an assessment for that either.

This is, after a couple of years ago, I asked if they could replace the battery and they indicated that "the phone wasn't bought from Core, so they can't help". So things have definitely improved.

Can they replace just the glass on top of the screen if it’s not cracked the whole way through?

No idea! Best find out from them.

They've given me good service the last two times (first for the iPhone 11's screen, if expensive) and just this weekend for an iPhone SE bought "pre-owned" from them, where the phone fell and the touchscreen stopped working (even though the glass was intact). The latter was replaced under warranty free of charge and within 2 hours.

What I mean is did they replace the whole screen or just the glass layer on top?

I can't remember but the whole thing, with the battery and the screen, cost me ~R4,000 so I am going to assume it was the whole screen.
