At centurion mall they did mine in about 2 hours. I didn’t wait though. I left and they sent me an SMS, fetched it same day. There is a booking system on the iStore website and they give you a time slot to bring in the device. Not sure if they take walk ins, maybe they do, but you might have to wait for longer. If they have the battery in stock they will help you same day, if they have to order, they will do that and you may get the phone later on in the day or the next day. That’s my centurion mall experience though. The booking slots are usually for the next day so you don’t wait long after booking. I can’t remember the booking link, but you can google it.

Prices are more or less the same and in some cases cheaper at the iStore. iPhone 13 Mini screen replacement is R5499 at the iStore whereas it's R5699 in the link you provided.

The price of batteries are exactly the same. Original batteries that is.

I was quoted R1999 for an iPhone 11 and R809 for an iPhone 8.

RealRepair is R1199 and R649.

I see the iPhone 11 pricing is now in line but the 8 still more expensive.

It’s a much shitter experience with iStore either way and volunteering more money to Core.

Same here, replaced an iPhone 11 battery there last year, took about two hours and they smsed me to collect.
