Is anyone else having trouble getting into some websites tonight?

3 out of the 4 sites i was on this morning are now just giving "Connection Failure" errors, but when you go through an anonymous proxy, they open instantly...

Really getting sick of this, "Always down, slow, useless internet"...

Same with me.

Rapidshare has been shaped right down to 64KBps (Capped speed) and I really need to pull down this 50MB file urgently for work!

Ok honestly this is getting REALLY bad.

Can't access:

GMail
Facebook
Rapidshare
Nokia Software Update

Anyone else?!?!

Iburst had some issues last nite... but they seemed to have sorted it out... maybe it's still broken for some sites, I couldn't access 80% of the sites yesterday but it was fine after 10pm...

Gmail,
Gesigbook
Nokia Software update

No Rapidshare account for me

all working fine, -

I just spoke to a techie - he is simply blaming it on load shedding! How is this possible? I have an antenna - I thought I could receive reception from 15km away?!

Erm, what loadshedding?

Tell him Bull something, which tower is experiencing load shedding?
According to their B/S monitor which can be accessed by their subscribers only Fourways is down

Limnos - you have being around for quite some time and dont take crap from those clowns

The above is a clear indication that no matter the promises made by these clowns, NOTHING will ever change at iBurst.

Keep those PM's/complaints/mails coming in guys. At this rate I am going to have to invest in a larger hard drive for all the problems you guys and gals are forwarding me.

Going to have an absolute field day when this gets published!

Keep 'em coming. iBurst are in for a VERY rude awakening indeed.

Me neither! Anyone elses browsing constantly refreshing? Can't figure if its my ClarkConnect or connection, and couldn't be bothered with stripping all the cable ties to plug my modem in directly as yet.

unless the site is text based, you can expect a minimum loading time of at least 5 minutes...

facebook takes about 20 minutes to open here, same with gmail and wiki pages take about 5-10 minutes... or a few reloads to open...

keep your cable ties in place... i'll put $$$'s down it's not on your side...

Nothing works for me on my side....

Local is fine, but 80% of the international sites I NEED to view are DOWN and are TIMING OUT!

Atleast I can rely on my Vodacom 3G data bundle at times like these (which is majority of the month - even had to purchase a second GB for 3G use, that's how often my iFscked is down!
