IT Field Support Technician

Stellenbosch based company looking for someone to fill the role of a IT FIELD SUPPORT TECHNICIAN.

DUTIES & KNOWLEDGE

* The job description shall include but shall not be limited to
* Working knowledge of ethernet and wireless computer networks
* Working knowledge of mysql databases, Linux (Ubuntu server) and Windows
* Fault finding on Access Control and Time & Attendance Systems (Including hardware and software components)
* Installation of POS terminals (including OS and applications)
* Support and troubleshooting of installed hardware and software
* Maintenance and installation of various other hardware solutions and systems as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* 2 - 3 years experience (preferred)
* Code 8 driver's licence & own reliable transport (essential)
* Well spoken and representable
* Good time keeping skills
* Contactable references
