SweepSouth is a new, rapidly scaling start-up providing an online platform for ordering and paying for home cleaning services. We connect people with experienced, reliable, efficient and insured cleaners in minutes.
SweepSouth is in search of a intern with a strong interest in IT to assist our operations team. The position is full-time but the hours will be negotiable. Applicants pursuing part-time studies in IT or related areas will be strongly preferred. This position is available immediately. The successful candidate will need to be based in Cape Town.
This position will include a stipend of R4000 per month.

SweepSouth is a tech-oriented business. This internship will offer the candidate the opportunity to be a part of a small team close-knit team as we build a successful South African start-up into a billion Rand enterprise.
Basic day-to-day tasks require that the candidate have:
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should meet the formal requirements of a Matric Certificate with maths and a Bachelor's pass.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the necessary proficiencies to fulfill the requirements of the role.
It would also be to the candidate’s advantage to be pursuing a part-time qualification in a tech-related field.

- a familiarity with Google Maps and navigation
- enthusiasm about tech
- word processing and spreadsheet experience
- an ability to work quickly without supervision
