IT Support Engineer - Mid Level Support
Techfusion, a Pretoria (Lynnwood) based IT support company requires a mid Level IT Support Engineer with 3 years experience in an IT networking and support environment to join their team. Valid driver’s license and own car required.
Description of Duties:
On-Site Desktop, Notebook, Workstation and Server Support
Daily Maintenance and Repairs
Remote Management and Support
Printer and Peripheral troubleshooting
Repairs of Desktops / Notebooks
Good understanding of Active Directory setup and administration.
Must be able to setup and manage enterprise Antivirus products
Knowledge of VMWare and Virtualization will be beneficial.
Must be able to interact with clients to discuss problems and solutions to improve their IT environment.
A good understanding of all current Software and Hardware, Windows 7 to 8.1, MS Office, Pastel, Anti-Virus, Microsoft Server 2008/2012, Microsoft Essential Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Active Directory, E-Mail, Mobile Platforms, Adobe Products, Remote Desktop, Mikrotik, ADSL Routers, VPN, Firewalls, LAN, TCP-IP, DHCP, DNS
Minimum Job Requirements:
Grade 12 Pass certification
A+/N+ Certification (beneficial)
MCITP Certification - recommended (not essential)
Valid SA ID
A Valid SA Drivers Licence and reliable transport
A Minimum 2 Years IT Support Work Experience
Must be fluent in both English and Afrikaans
This is not an AA position and is open to all candidates
Remuneration:
Annual Package R 120 000 - R 200 000 per annum dependent on experience and qualification.
