Job description
IT Administrator required for a leading Asset Management Company in Johannesburg.
· Grade 12
· Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in IT administration / MCSE / Other related IT Qualifications.

Duties / Knowledge
Role:
IT infrastructure support (User Machines & Servers)
Maintaining the company Network Infrastructure
Microsoft Server Admin (Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange online, Windows Server)
Reporting to customers and staff on issues and resolutions.
2nd Level System/Software support. (Training on our locally developed software will be provided.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (English)

Responsibilities:
Look after the company IT infrastructure.
Assist with the setup of new & existing machines for staff members.
Troubleshooting IT related issues and systems.
System & Server Administration

Knowledge
  • 2-4 Years’ experience as an IT administrator in an established environment
  • Microsoft Office software
  • Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2016+ server
  • Microsoft Exchange Online.
  • Active Directory Experience
Advantageous Skills (Not Mandatory)
  • Working with Linux.
  • N+ and A+ Qualification.
  • Cisco Networking.
  • Good knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating system environments.
  • Quick Learner, Critical Thinker & Good Personality that can work well with others
Employment Type
Full Time (Permanent) subject to a 3-month probation period.
Salary: R20k gross (review after 3-month probation period.)

Wonder if you are allowed to work a second job then?
 
Please tell me more about this post and how I can apply for it. I am an Honors degree holder in Computer Science but I am still unemployed
