Jeez, why so mean? I'm also sceptical that's why I opted for cash on delivery. It's 10 working days today since I paid a deposit as they had requested (anything between R100 and R500). The delivery time says 5-10 working days and I haven't received any feedback yet. So hence the worry and the post.
You don't have to be so mean.. I'm also worried here..mxm!
So the deposit is just some random amount?

UPDATE: The thinkpad t14 gen 1 I ordered actually had some cooling issues. The fan wouldn’t ramp up and so the cpu would throttle down tremendously. I replaced the thermal paste but then figured out it was a firmware issue(I think it was something with “Lenovo Intelligent Cooling”). Easy fix, used lenovo vantage to update, all is good now. I dont know if it was sold second hand because of this issue, neither do I know if they were aware of it. Might have been that the original owner just thought it was slow and sold it off for cheap, as I saw it still has 10 months warranty left. I don’t know how long of a warranty it came with originally, as the laptop released probably around 2021. I wouldn’t say it is necessarily ITworkup’s fault, I guess you should be aware of this when buying a pre-owned device from anywhere.
I'm not saying you're a scammer, but I've never seen anyone work this hard to change opinions for something if they have no involvement.

Why do you feel the need to update like this and "convince" readers?

Why not join a MyBB competition?
What does this mean? am I eligible for something because I posted in this forum? If you are being sarcastic, I'm sorry that I'm not getting it :D

Great stuff. Please post proof like (the now anonymous) @Drizzy did.
What kind of proof do you guys need? I have the email chain and a pic of the watch and the box (it was sealed - I was worried about this as well).

Omw... I'm getting worried now, paid a deposit and awaiting my order...
So i had to reply and did not know I even had a MBB account since 14 years ago, but I just went to pick up my order last week, and arrived after 6pm, and the owner was walking out of the building and met him. What a great guy. He showed me the ITworkup sales team, some of the drivers and packers were still packing orders and the phones were still ringing some guys were taking in orders. Guys, they were processing hundreds of orders it looked like, I saw with my own eyes. So the owner is indeed the guy James as above someone tracked online. He is the same guy who launched Home Connect, CSSI, CipherWaVE, and involved in supporting startups. I actually have a home connect fibre line too ;-) When I asked him a few questions about ITworkup he just smiled and said 'watch this space'. It looks like this might be the next TakeAlot. One of guys said they launching in capeTown and Durban. My guess after what I saw is they not interested in making profits or they suppporting from the other companies this startup and not all about money at the moment but growing market share with a GREAT SERVICE which explains their CRAZY pricing and stupid bargain offers. My gaming i9 rig with 2 GPU's worked perfect right out the box. I just finished setting it up and they sent a message that if you write a review, on the next order, you will get 'discount-voucher', so thats me coming out of my box to write this. I saw one of the new G series Dell laptops they just got in and want it ;-). Google 5 star review also on the way, and I know i am a newbie as i just follow blogs, but here is my first ever review on MBB and can vouch this is not a small company, but a major new player on the deck which I think we all need. I highly recommend if anyone still has doubts like i did after reading all your posts, get into an Uber and drive down, and if you lucky meet the CEO or the team. What an inspiration even though I only had like 4 minutes of face time with him and he even inspired me to bring my business idea to life, so thank you Mr. James. ~From Tiago.

Yes you all are not scammers, just new Mybb members who are willing to go the extra mile to verify the new business is not a scam but a legitimate business.

I am impressed with the company, their service was so far beyond the norm, that multiple people felt the collective need to join Mybb with the expressed intention of polishing the gonads of IT Workup because that is how good the service was.

I am convince you all got happy endings.

No, they make profit. None of the stock is local, so neither is your warranty.

Lol, a new member ask about the legitimacy, and a new member verifies the legitimacy.
Btw... I am also a new member, but after experiencing their company with my own eyes and seeing the light, was compelled to post and a quick Uber drive is the way to become a believer ;-).

So happy endings for you and the Uber driver.

Eish... SHL... you're really throwing shade at the IT workup crew, huh? Did you get screwed by some other online shop and now wish you'd supported them instead? You know how it goes... give props where they're due. It takes some serious guts to kick off a new biz in this day and age, and if you checkout their site, they must've dropped a pretty penny on it. It's probably the most BOSS online store I've seen in Mzansi.

You some annoying bot :ROFL::ROFL:... go see for yourself... www.itworkup.co.za I think I am gonna be enjoying my blogging leisure here. Time to take the red pill. Reality behind the illusion man... or an Uber might work faster like I did
James it’s near 11 o'clock, stop working and go to bed you nutter
