I dropped @Intox and @rh1 messages with further info that I both don't want and that doesn't need to be public for various reasons. They can state whether they are happy with the info, and whether they understand why they would prefer it be kept out of the thread.

I'm leaving it at that - this isn't my thread, I just commented and got roped in as a result.

I think your case by case method is fair to yourself and to your customer.

Today, we received this client's motherboard. You can take a look at it on your own. The previous photo was sent by the client himself, and today we received the motherboard he shipped back. It is 100% physical damage caused by the client, with multiple bent pins, especially in the corner where you remove the CPU if you don’t know how. We don’t think any further comments are necessary.

So what's the verdict about ITWorkup, are they legit and can we buy from them because for the life of me I can't find a Razer mouse dock pro anywhere local accept from their site, but knowing this thread exists I am a bit weary

Greetings,

Our delivery time ranges from 5 to 12 working days. You have the convenience of paying upon collection or on delivery if you reside in Johannesburg. No deposit is required for orders below R3,000.

With no need for advance payment for items under R3,000, what could be more convenient?

Actually, in this thread, you can find many posts from experts and long-time members who have received the products. Similarly, on Hellopeter, there are numerous reviews from users registered since 2009. Google also has many reviews from local guides, who have left reviews on various business profiles. The same positive feedback can be found on Carbonite forums. It's impossible to fake such things.

You just never know these days :(

@ITworkup: Dude, you have completely twisted and lied about the so-called photographic evidence. I was the one to send you the photo's first. A proper technician, upon examining the board would observe a raised socket pin poking up above the rest, as if the pin were not even soldered in the board. How you twist that into a user created damage is beyond my comprehension.

The whole basis of your response to a customer is to assume the customer is a liar and that no one has ever been sent a dead defective board. It is my word against yours.

@ITworkup, are you going to help the poor guy with the bent pins, seems it’s not a clear cut case?
It would be a show of goodwill to try hash something out, maybe meet half way on a replacement or help him get the pins straightened. @rinxai

Greetings,

We are sorry, but as we have previously stated, we do not cover bent pins on the motherboard, as this is clearly seen as physical damage. We have the client's motherboard in the office with the same serial number from the same order. The client claims that he did not return the motherboard and uses the phrase "It's my word against yours," but we have all the evidence, including camera recordings, showing how the motherboard was returned and in which condition.

If we were to refund these claims, anyone could damage motherboards or Ryzen 3-5 Gen CPUs pins accidentally and claim a warranty. As you already know, no company covers bent pins. We are attaching photos once again, and this is our final word on this matter. We always honor all warranties and have replaced or refunded all defective products for our clients, but this is not the case here. This is 100% physical damage, as the client was building the computer on his own and tried multiple times to remove and install the CPU.

Thank you for your understanding.

How long does it usually take once it's shipped to the main office?
I choose collection and did not expect to wait so long to be honest....order was placed 8 days ago, sat it was shipped to main office...surely I should be able to collect by now.

Greetings,

Please provide your order number.

Thank you!

You did all you could, some people are here to discredit info instead of validating.

Showed your receipts - "Nah, you fabricated info using MS paint"
Gave business physical address - "Nah, you are an agent hired to SCAM us"
Shared 3rd part courier paperwork - "Nah, it was a different legitimate order, you change info"

They could have validated by going to the business, or checking with 3rd party stakeholders. "Nah, I will deny and deny from my seat. "

I'm placing an order now, with option of paying on delivery.
Hi All, I received my LG Bluetooth speaker on the 24th May since my last post. It took some time but it was worth it (8 may order date). Considering all the "out of stock" from other shops.

They are super slow, I had my amazon US order arrived quicker then IT Workup.
At least I was provided with a "fun fact" that my order along with another are "
Shipment Size:
10 Large Boxes
Shipment Weight:
253kg
and thats is en route....that was over a week ago.
I think an actual update about MY order would have been better....
