IT Workup

To our valued customers, partners, and community:

I sincerely apologise for the recent disruption at ITWORKUP. Due to an internal shareholder operational dispute, we made the tough but necessary decision to temporarily pause operations to protect our customers, clients, suppliers, and stakeholders. This is a short-term measure, and we’re already working to resolve it.

Two key commitments:
  1. No one will face financial loss. Our CSSI team is actively fulfilling orders and supporting customers and walk-in clients (even to this minutes as commented above by some clients, however, but a different company team). All orders will be delivered or fully refunded.
  2. ITWORKUP remains a financially secure, active business. We’re exploring options to strengthen the team and operations for a brighter future in one of several ways.
Please bear with us for the next 48-72 hours. Visit www.itworkup.co.za for updates or to share pending order details (order number/payment status), once active again. With hundreds of transactions in progress, we’re committed to supporting everyone involved and please be at rest while we do so.

Thank you for your patience and trust. We’re confident ITWORKUP’s incredible start-up will lead to an even stronger future.

– James
Thanks james. but could we have something more official, like an email to accounts that are still awaiting orders with the same commitment and honesty?
Anyone can make a new account and make these promises. its only fair that everyone who has a pending order is updated - you probably have clients that have not been on mybroadband yet...

How strange! I received my latest order yesterday, with excellent communication from them along the way about the progress.

If I had to guess, I'd make up a theory that the international counterpart wanted all the pie, and the local counterpart (CSSI?) didn't want to give them all the pie, which led to some crazy shenanigans with domains being shut down, and the international staff in SA not pitching up for work, leading to the local counterpart suddenly having 3 people to do 100 people's work.

I reckon they'll be up and running (with a different name, maybe CSSI?) soon, but we'll have to wait and see.

I am honestly beyond scared that I might not receive either my order or my refund. Any words of any encouragement won't help. I need proof. That this isn't what its starting to look like.
I would not panic yet. They are probably part of CSSI South Africa in terms of company ownership.

edit: after seeing #328 ok its time to panic :P

I think ITworkup was in some business partnership with the main Itwork branch in Europe: https://www.itwork.lt/
Their website looks the same as the ITworkup website, logos, and everything.
I got in contact with one of their staff, this was the conversation:

Hello I am from South Africa, I am reaching out to you in the hope of making ITWork aware of an issue with their branch in South Africa if someone did not already know, we paid for an order last week and it seems their website and phone lines are down: https://itworkup.co.za/, it also shows on google that the shop is closed.

Good day, ITworkup 100% shareholder and executive director is James Jakov Grcic. He has all access to bank account and other things. I'm right now in Europe. He decided to switch off ITworkup domain together with mails. He has full authority on domain as he bought it. James Jakov Grcic is also CSSi South Africa company main shareholder and director. He is the only person who can help you.

Thank you for your response, I spoke to CSSI's front-desk now, apparently, ITworkup South Africa owes CSSI hosting fee's and CSSI decided to turn their services off.

They are full of lies but it doesn't matter now. They have access to bank account where your money was transferred.

It is quite bizarre 😃, the front desk lady said that James is sorting it out and that ITWorkup is in the process of moving office's too. The website for itworkup.co.za said yesterday that the domain was stolen too when it was still redirecting to fenway.co.za. https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads/how-does-a-website-get-stolen.1312271/

We are trying to get it back from him, but this guy is unpredictable. Fighting for R219 rand domain as for his life, only mentally ill people can let to do that. Sooner or later everything will be good, we offered him R400K worth another website which he is using and he still talking bullshit and nonsense

Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like James is dodgy!

Is James the ITworkup guy that has been replying to this thread in the past?

Yes, EFT. I've already gone to the bank and they said to file open a police case which has been done. I don't want to go through these steps to gain access to my money but I will if need be
If it’s EFT I’d start the process with the bank immediately, it’s clear things have completely unravelled at ITworkup South Africa so strike now while you might still have a chance for the bank to claw the money back from the account it was sent to.

From @mrjventer's post above, it looks like there is a company called itwork in Europe and then a company called itworkup in South Africa, that was in partnership with the Europe company, but the EU company decided they didn't want to work with itworkup anymore? Or maybe they weren't in partnership and were just buying stock from them and using a similar design?

It's very confusing!

I was at CSSi this morning. They tried to look for my phone, but unfortunately it wasn't one of the ones that was delivered this week.

Do they have any idea what's going to happen with the orders that haven't been delivered yet?

Man I put mine on the 16th, they said it should arrive at the warehouse by the 5th of March
So i wonder if my order also isn't included in those that haven't arrived yet
Also received a message that my order should arrive 4th-5th of March, over a week ago!

It astounds me that this place was red flagged as a potential scam right from the beginning of this thread…and yet people still went ahead and ordered with them and are crying now.
