I had placed an order that was scheduled to arrive 4-5th March and then everything went belly up.

I contacted the Cssi building today morning and they’re said that they are were trying to sort out the orders that had arrived and asked for my order number and pop ( I did a pay on collection so only had the payment for the deposit) .
She said she’d get back to me.

A couple of hours later I decided to go myself and enquire about my order , she already had my info noted down and had someone check .
Luckily enough my item was there and I just had to make the payment and received my item.

I unfortunately don’t know what happens if your order hadn’t arrived at the building yet.

I recommend calling them so that they can try track where your order is ( bare in mind they’ll likely only be able to help you if your order is with them, they’re just trying to help where they can)

Better yet , go to them yourself and enquire

It astounds me that this place was red flagged as a potential scam right from the beginning of this thread…and yet people still went ahead and ordered with them and are crying now.
They arent/weren't a scam. I successfully ordered from them a few times and I visited their offices when I had a collection at CSSI.

This sound more like a argument between the EU offices and the SA office.

fml, I had a good experience with them and now..
Ordered a 5700X3D from them to surprise my husband for his birthday.
Let's see if I get it, knowing my luck, the day I placed an order on SSS they went under.
Will update, but the fact that ITWorkup have a presence here should be reassuring enough to anyone else, not every company can be the size of or respond like a Pinnacle/Axis can.
I called it.
At least this time I actually GOT my order before the store went under.

Am I cursed?

If you want your order go to there office the people there(Cssi not itworkup) are giving orders out.Was there today managed to get my order.

If ITWorkup is using Lithuanian company trademarks without permission they're gonna get hammered.

From what I can gather the local "branch" had some sort of agreement to use the brand and was a drop shipper of the Lithuanian companies stock.
I guess when money started getting decent the relationship started to sour and now we are here.

Yes I was curious why some product descriptions and maybe even URL text was in foreign languages on their website.

So it was a bit like the Orange store from the past.

It doesnt sound like you've read the posts then. Multiple users were saying they got their orders, and even someone from progenix said that they had used them in the past... Noone expected things to just go tits up in the space of 2 weeks.

I certainly haven’t read them all, point was there was plenty of smoke with in the beginning arrogant responses from “management” and now there is fire.

So should anyone really be surprised?

I don't think I'm necessarily surprised, but the signs of things being legit were all there though, people were ordering and getting there stuff with regulatity, albeit with a delay as expected from a drop shipper type setup.

Their products were of good quality, sourced from (East) European market at good prices with wide range of choices and they got them delivered in the time they promised. If these guys resume and I wish they do I am very likely to continue ordering from them.

Looks like they have opened again as "Fenway.co.za". I would suggest people steer clear, while I have been lucky, and some others here as well, until we know more I don't think it makes sense to risk anything. If you do want to order they have an option to pay on pickup at the office, so I would suggest using that method as the safest way going forward.

Sourced from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine?

I tried that route in December as it was my first order but they wanted a deposit before finalising the order.
A deposit might be better than the entire amount though.

That sucks, makes sense business wise I guess but then the risk still exists. Thanks for this.

Yes, our new company's name is Fenway Supplier Pty Ltd - Fenway.co.za. We always offer the option to pay by cash or card upon delivery or pickup for customer convenience and security.

Furthermore, in 2024 alone, we successfully fulfilled over 7,000 customer orders. However, due to an incident where our previous domain was taken down, we had to migrate to a new company and website.

Once we complete all system migration tasks, we will continue providing the same reliable service to our customers.

I have logged in with my itworkup.co.za username and password and I can see my orders.

As per an earlier post that outlined a court case what is ITworkup's relationship to James Jakov Grcic and Cssi and why was he able to shut down the ITwork domain?
