Itemized billing data usage KB vs MB vs GB confusion

Looking at itemized billing on My Vodacom, Latest transactions report, I find that KB shows as MB, and MB as GB, example below:

15 December 2015 09:00:38am Internet access 28min 20sec; usage 287.71 MB R 0.28

It's very clear from the above entry that it should've been 287.71 KB, since it was the OOB charge of R2/MB. Is this problem specific to my account or across the entire customer base?
