Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right part of the forum.

My wife is going to need to do the ITIL 4 Foundation exam .

Does anyone have any study notes, guides, videos, links and so on that will help her ?

Thank you

There should be some information on the ITIL website, but you can also purchase online manuals from Amazon etc.
Also check and see if you can get a trial of Pluralsight.com. They should have some decent training about ITIL. There is also Udemy where you can find inexpensive training.

I did this the other week through Torque IT.

Be very careful with online ITIL material, especially note that ITIL v4 is changed quite a lot from v3 in terms of what you need to know for the exam.

I strongly recommend doing the proper course through an accredited training provider as this will be enough to get you through the exam and leave any other material alone.

No prep required.

Do the course and write it at the end of the week.

Job done.

and what if you cannot do the course and rather do it online on your own or something ?

no free material ?

Are you paying yourself? Otherwise the company should really fork out for the course as well.
What are you hoping to get out of it? Cause to be honest, when I did ITIL it did nothing for my career.

I haven't compared it to anything else. Just sharing a link.
With the best of intentions I'm sure but I think that particular illustrates my original point about the lack of quality of free online material for ITIL - that link smacks of v3 material simply marked up as v4 without any change to the material.

Unfortunately if you want to self study, free online ITIL training material is likely to be more of a hinderance than a help when it comes to the exam.

I bet with a bit of Google-fu, learners will be able to find more sources of learning.

It's always best to broaden your knowledge beyond course material as well.
