Hi, I searched the forum for possible answers, found some possible sollutions (http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showpost...&postcount=489, Posted by Dobee, but none works).

I have an iPhone 16 Gb which is unlocked with 1.1.4 firmware that used to sync with iTunes on my Powerbook G4 15' with OsX 10.4.

I recently upgraded the mac to Leopard 10.5.3 and now iTunes doesn't read my iPhone any more.

My 60Gb iPod (with video) is still recognized and syncs normally to the iTunes 7.6.2 (9) version that is installed, but I don't see the iPhone at all. When I connect the iPhone, iPhoto launches and is ready to download the photos.

Thanks.

So you tried my tips... Well all I can think of now is reinstalling iTunes.

Edit:
If you've had error messages when syncing your iPhone with iTunes try these steps...

1) Reset sync history
iTunes Preferences> Syncing Tab> Click the reset button

2) Reboot iPhone
Hold down the sleep button till the red power off button appears> slide to power off> Then press the sleep button to boot your iPhone.

3) Use a different USB Port

Hi Dobee, I just re-installed iTunes and the iPhone is busy syncing now. Thanks for your patience.
