iTunes install help!

Hi!
I have recently purchased an iPad 2.
In order to start it up I had to download iTunes 10.
My problem is that after downloading the file and trying to install on my pc (windows xp, 32bit) , it says that it is not a valid win32 application.
What should I do? I also copied the install file to my flash drive and attempted to install it on my laptop (windows 7 starter, 32bit) and I got the same message.

It means the file did not download properly (check the size of your downloaded file and what it should be), or you might have downloaded the 64-bit version.
