The bosses recently received the new ipad each - 5 in total.
Now they want to each have their own US account.
They also want a single RSA or US account where they can purchase apps for the business and have them distributed to all the devices?

Is this possible?

You can switch between accounts on the iPad but the distribution of one account might pose a problem. Were you planning on using just one PC in the office to sync all of the devices or was each individual going to sync with their own PC?

What I do is have my US account on the family PC and my UK account on the iPad. If I download on the iPad and sync with the PC all of those apps are then available to the other authorised devices so they get them next time they sync.

They each have their own laptops they want to sync with their respective iPad's.

I'll create both and see how it goes, just authorize both accounts to one pc.

Short answer: It's possible

There is a limit to the number of devices per account and IIRC 5 is right on that limit. What if business is good and they appoint a 6th boss?

iOs apps are generally quite cheap and it's a tax write-off for your guys anyway, so I don't see the benefits of sharing an account here.
