ITunes store down?

Is it just me or is the iTunes store down? I've tried rebooting. All other internet apps work fine but iTunes gives the "The network connection was refused" error message. Even the Mac App Store is working fine.

Granted, I was playing around with Vidalia this weekend, but I did deactivate the SOCKS proxy.

OK, I got mine working again. Don't know if anyone else has the same problem, but I'll post my fix here for future reference.

As I said, I had been playing around with Vidalia and Switchy for Chrome (anonymous browsing). I knew enough to switch off the SOCKS proxy, but in my network settings both Auto Proxy Discovery and Automatic Proxy Configuration were checked. Turn the latter one OFF. iTunes starts working again instantly.

And stay away from Vidalia unless you actually know your way around networking protocols.
