I think it has a lot of potential. I've pitched the idea and mechanics to a few trusted friends (who would rip me apart if it was a bad idea) and they think its a great.

I just need some advice on steps after I've got a working prototype.

Lets assume I have a workable game and done a few focus groups, what is the best way to market this? Note its got a South African flavour so South Africans will be my primary audience.

I was thinking takealot/bid or buy and perhaps a few local game shops, but not sure whether I need to register a business name etc etc.

I have around 80k to throw at the idea - suggestions greatly appreciated on hoops I may need to jump through and possible marketing avenues. Would love to give it to someone with a running business and basically just take a cut.

The best is to Create IPhone, Android and Steam application for your game. This will create awareness for the physical items.
Create the product and push it on Bidorbuy, Takealot, Ebuy and Make sure you patent it so now one can 'clone' it.
If the game has over 100000 downloads, propose it to Amazon and they will stock it if it unique/demand. Soon the rest will sell the product for you and you just supply it. But if you want to make it self managed, the best is create mobile application and steam game application. It will run on its own.

This means I need the ability to code a decent Android/IOS app. I have some fundamental java knowledge, but nothing close to what I would need for this.
