Hi All

Just thought I would let you know, Cancelled my account with iWurst. They don't want to lose another valued customer and have taken money out of my account for next month. Hi Ho its off to the bank I go, suppose I will just have to reverse it. Wondering if I should go to the cops with a cancellation form, a bank statement and lay a charge of fraud against there damn MD. On the good side I have deterred 8 ppl from joining them and I work for an online retailer that was considering listing there product (Not anymore). All this over R250. Screw them by the time I am finished letting all the clients who call wanting to know which service they should choose it would have cost them thousands..................****ers :mad:

Companies like this should die a slow death.

Pity most customer's of Iwurst will never know how they are being ripped off.

They had decided in August that I need iCall (Why would anyone go for that crap when you can get a skype number for half the price) so they invoiced me fo 5 month of it last month because I had apparently requested it.

I have a DSL 384 line, downloads just as fast as iWurst :) R200 Cheaper and no iCall. I have a modem and someone that wants to buy it, but I think they will end up black listing my modem..................why do we have to put up with this. Me thinks screw the sun its time to move to a 1st world with no Cap

Pretty much. Had iBust not pissed me off so much, I probably would have just dropped them and moved onto another provider. Sadly, I left them out of pure frustration (yes, sigh, accounts department). I'll now actively go out of my way to dissuade people from using iBust, thanks to their antics.

Anyone who has the faintest idea how to run a business knows that this is a very dangerous situation to be in for a company. I'll be amazed if they reach their next subscriber milestone without some kind of lawsuit brought against them.

That's not long in coming...

...if the CEO doesn't step in and shake things up, they'll get their first lawsuit real soon...

I'm keeping an eye open... because that will be very, very interesting to watch.
 
Okay, so I'm not the only one who is having....errr, ...troubles with them. Am now going to be actively looking for another option. I've had problems with them in just about every single bloody dept. My modem will as soon as I can feasibly manage it become a white elephant paperweight. Wouldn't want to inflict iBurst on ANYONE. Not even my worst enemy. Best stop there before I give myself a heart attack ;)

As a matter of interest did you receive your extra "free" 1GB that was promised to you.:rolleyes:

:confused: Is that a problem? I don't like their accounts department but the service is pretty good, I was just wondering why he canceled his account?

EDIT: Also, as mentioned in another thread, I was planning on moving to ADSL but they dont offer me 4Mbps on my exchange yet.

I have to agree here as my connection was also excellent, I canceled because it's been run by a useless company who had access to my bank account.

@Fudzy, Oops, I lost track since this post has been dragging out since last month, but reading between the lines it looks like iburst tried to rape gillon's bank account.:rolleyes:

MrH, wish I had, thought at the TIme I joined them they had only recently started up. That was almost 3years ago. Signed a 2year contract. Did finally get that extra gig promised, though Shireen took her time getting it loaded. Still having problems with their accounts dept, even after she promised that everything had been sorted out. *sigh*
