Jabber help please...

Hey guys,

Could someone please tell me how to open a jabber.co.za account. The instructions on jabber.co.za is confusing to say the least. Just a step by step way to do it.

I ask because I want to use Pidgin but there is no way to create a new account for jabber (only gives you the usual suspects).

So in summation... please please please... help!

Edit: Forgot to say - I'm using ubuntu 8.10 - if it makes any differance...

I just opened one now using Pidgin

Accounts -> Manager -> Add

Protocol: XMPP
Screen Name: watEverYouWant
Domain: jabber.co.za
Resource: watEverYouWant
Password : ********
Local Alias: Jabber.co.za

Tick the checkbox next to "Create this new account on the server"

A registation window will pop up when you click ok.

can't believe this came up now, was trying to do it last night using Pidgin and a jabber.co.za account on Ubuntu.

How would want use the local jabber server to transport MSN traffic?
