Jailbreaking iPhone 3G iOS4.1 on Windows

As far as I can tell, you need RedSn0w 0.9.6 b1 in order to JB a 3G on iOS4.1

I have had no luck whatsoever locating RedSn0w 0.9.6 b1 on the intertubes - either the link is down or the bandwidth is exceeded.

Can anyone help with a link or more info, please?
 
thed33p did you manage the Jailbreak? How is your 3G performing on iOS4.1?
 
The JB worked just fine - the most difficult part was finding a DL link for Redsn0w

Performance FEELS a bit snappier but SMS and Calendar is still quite sluggish - this might also be because I restored my old backup - never quite did the "new phone" thing.

Interesting thing, once I was on 4.1, I wanted to show my wife that it will now be faster that her (JB) 4.0.1 so we did a "race" to get to settings, then to sms, then to calendar - she beat me all 3 times :( That said, she has no exchange accounts, less contacts and much less SMS'es....
