Jake White to meet Mbeki

Did anyone watch SuperRugby last night?

Joost interviewed Rudolph Lake over the phone, the man has lost all his marbles (being kind, dont know if he had any on the first place)

He had all 3 people in the studio shaking their heads in amazement at what appears to be a blatant and outright vendetta against J White.

It was really astonishing to listen to, I have never heard such nonsense in my life, honestly.

This stems from the article in the newspaper about the fight and the allegations that Jake was involved in it.
The fact that Jake was not even there at the time seems to be insignificant to Mr Lake.

I was shocked that this is how a sports editor of a newspaper/rag can conduct themselves during an interview being broadcast out over live television, shocked shocked shocked.
The viewers that called in after the fact were equally amazed at the mans ignorance.

Not sure what Jake hope to achieve by meeting Mbeki but I hope he gets the reassurance he's looking for. Sad that he has to get involved in politics so much ... where does he find the time to coach :D

He's not going to meet Mbeki after all. SARU have told him that he did not follow internal protocol and are blocking the meeting. "Internal protocol", I believe, is doublespeak for "we are your masters and if you want to complain about your masters, you must complain directly to your masters so that your masters can overrule you".

Brave move by White. I hope he manages to put a stop to all the nonsense he has to put up with especially the political interference. The man has an important job to do with the World Cup just around the corner and he is being undermined at every corner.

There's no point in meeting mbeki. The same people mbeki are in charge or, are the same people that is destroying the rugby.

I disagree here.
I believe that the SARU bosses are quick to bang on the table and demand more representative rugby at a national level, but are less quick to get down to the nitty gritty of finding out why this is the case.
This I believe would be the argument that Jake would make.
SARU are just trying to shft the blame on Jake, wrongly.

Hoskins and the Stofile bruthas should look closer at themselves and their role in this. It is SARU and the sports ministry that must develop the game, not the national coach.
The man cannot pick players that are not there, why are they attacking Jake? The same reason they always attack the coach, to cover up for themselves doing buggerall to promote the sport amongst the previously disadvantaged and nurture the talent when they find it to ensure that they do not go 'missing'.

SARU will be very reluctant for Jake to sit down with numero uno and discuss a few fact be sure.
SARU got a revving in parliament yesterday and Hoskins had nothing to say, he knows they have not pulled their own weight.
